Question: the ladies T-shirt chest measurement for the XL is 24 inches and the 2 XL is 26 inches. I’m 5’6″ and weigh about 114 pounds and my chest measurement is about 36 inches so this looks really “off” — I’d be ordering this for my mom who is a larger woman and I’m really confused by the chest size. I would normally just hold up a t-shirt or sweatshirt and see how it looks but obviously I have to go by measurements to order. Am I supposed to double the 24 or 26 inches for the total measurement? Can you clear up my confusion please? Thank you!
When we measure the shirts it is when it is laying flat. If you need a better idea for yourself take one of the shirts that you know fit you well and measure it while it is laying flat. I do not know if you are supposed to double it unfortunately.
